Most text work is small, dull and awkward to do by hand. A list needs its duplicates removed, a headline needs the right case, a paragraph copied out of a PDF has line breaks in the wrong places, a title needs to become a URL. None of it is difficult and all of it is slow, which is exactly the kind of job a small tool should take off your hands.
These eight run entirely in your browser. That is worth saying plainly because of what people actually paste into text tools: contracts under negotiation, letters from a doctor, a customer list, a draft of something not yet published. On most sites all of that is uploaded to be processed. Here it is read and changed by the page you already have open, and nothing is sent anywhere.
The difference between these and the usual versions is in the corners. Windows line endings that leave an invisible character on every line. Sorting that puts file 10 before file 2. Title Case that capitalises the word of. Words split across a line break by a PDF.
